I've been absent from FurAffinity for quite a while. I figured now was as good as any a time to post again! ^^'

I'm working on a partial fursuit for Neon but I ran into a dilemma. Almost no fur that I found could match the maroon-y red-y dark pink of his belly, inner ears, and digits. Instead of continuing to search and finding some super expensive fur that matched almost how I want it to, I decided to change up Neo's colors based around the cheaper fur colors that I could find. The end result turned out better than expected and honestly I think I like him more than I liked the original colors.

Also, yes, there is a redesign element as well. Firstly, I drew him... TOONY (le gasp)! Which, eh, doesn't really matter, I just thought I'd point that out cause for my first attempt at a plushy/toony style, I think he turned out really well. The real redesign lies in...

- his facial markings (slightly)

- the inside of his ears (no pink stripe???)

- the stripe down his tummy (no longer a stripe! Now it's a tear-drop shape around his crotch and a blobby thing that runs from his chin to his chest

- added shoulder stripes

-added rings around forearms and feet/legs

All in all I really like how he turned out and I hope he won't have to go through another design change in his lifespan! Sorry Neo!
