It's been a long time coming, two months coming in fact, but here it is at long last, chapter 27 of my series!

Apologies to everyone who was anticipating this chapter, but real life can be a real bitch sometimes. Those who stuck around for my journals last month are aware that I've had some slight health issues. I'm still working them out but I'll say I'm much more relaxed than I was previously.

At any rate, I hope you all enjoy it regardless! It took me a few days after writing the first section to ponder the others for it, but I feel it's worth the long wait. Don't worry, I promise next chapter won't take 2 more months, lol.

With Darius instilled proper into Team Aura Storm, and with the Dark Woods finally recovering its Rainbow Lens, Rune finds himself lamenting his position as a member of The Winners, memories of team travel past with the Nomcario and company crossing his mind.

With Auric also out of the hospital, the Umbreon decides to lay out what he's wanted for some time now: that being to rejoin his old team and departing his current one. Thus the stoic Lucario joins the shiny bre on his walk through a nighttime Clearspring to first visit the intrepid team he'd only read up about but was familiar with its leader.

Following that, it only stood to reason Rune would need Cyn's permission to even change teams given she was the Winners' leader, and so following checking up with his old crew, the Umbreon heads off to Doc Leaf's to discuss this crucial point in his journey with the shiny Liepard, and set himself back on the path to happiness..
