Monday's entry.
Yay for the storm clouds that look like intestinal tract !
From now on, these things are gonna get decisively smaller, as I'm starting to burn out.

Oh wowwwww. The perspective on the paws here is SO good. I really do admire and envy your instinct regarding poses.
So, just to play with it now that you've posted this - could I suggest using a different color for the sky? Maybe a cool shade of purple, like a lilac, and blend in the wax to make it darker, more moody. I have no idea if it'd work, but I'm curious to see how it'd turn out. :D

Aha, you're the second one to mention the paws ! Yeah, serves me right for bringing that close to the viewer 8D And thank you !
As for the background colour, I do believe that placing a mostly-gray character agains the gray sky with only the thin liner to separate the two is stupid, but I have a penchant for such senseless ventures. Purplish tint would be lovely, I concur. In these couple of days, I'll try and make a you a similar picture with said colour applied, if a smaller version. Thanks for the suggestion !
And blending it in wax ? Excuse me, I've not yet been familiarized with such techniques *proud luddite* >8|
Glad to see you again !

Ah, got it ! And I thought that said waxing was something of an occult illustration practice last applied by the scribes of the Middle Ages, and it involved dripping hot candle wax on the picture or something 8D In fact, in my folly I still use my old tube of watercolour pencils, so with buta drop of water I could make allthe colours melt and meld, but I usually draw on a thin paper(folly again) that gets all wrinkled if it's drenched too much.
Ahhh nooo I liked that last one a lot X3 I love getting fanart from all kinds of people with all kinds of talent, it makes it more interesting, and I love them. I like this too, of course! You made Airu look pretty intimidating, ha ha. Very accurate. :3 Ah I like that mouth for some reason, and those paws of course.
Thank you for both of these, I love them!

Hey, I didn't make Airu any more intimidating than she naturally is, what with eating peoples' faces and breathing flame that by the looks of it must be welder-hot D:
And I keep drawing Airu's muzzle too long, sorry - it should be shorter and the elevation from nose to forehead should be steeper, I think ? There was also a dilemma of whether kitsu's muzzle tip profile is like this or like that, but I guess it changes from expression to expression. And it's better not to think too much about how the perspective applied to those paws is supposed to be unfurled, or else one forepaw would wind up being twice as long as the other. It could have been partially amended by a better shading on the paw closer to the viewer, but I didn't notice it in time ;_;
And you're welcome !
