This little cutie is one of a handful of overdue plushes I'm working toward finishing :) She was made for my great aunt, based off of her own little Dachshund named Fannie May. Poor thing's been nearly finished for a while now, but seeing as we were taking a trip to visit, I thought it appropriate to set my other projects aside and dedicate a day to finishing her up so I could hand her over in person, rather than shipping.
We picked an interesting spot for photos. Unfortunately, Fannie passed away a few years ago, but my aunt has another doxie by the name of Angel. Angel loves this little seat which sits atop a small hill outside of the home and she diligently chases squirrels from it daily. We're glad she allowed us to have a little photo op involving her favorite chair :P
I'm really happy with how she turned out, especially those cute ears! I forgot to take measurements, but she's made out of black and caramel minky and features embroidered facial features that were custom designed by me.
You may notice that Kitsewne is listed at the bottom, alongside Leah-tribal. I'm very pleased to announce Kitsewne as the name of my plushing business. After some thinking, I've decided to make DA/FA accounts for the name and will be moving my plush work there in the very near future. When this happens, I'll post a journal notification.
Commissions are currently closed and will be until I finish up my current list, which I'll have posted to my journal soon. Now that I'm back (once again) from my trip, I'm doing a bit of organizing so I can hit the workload hard.
Thanks for looking!
