detailing the ears! the top one is the ear i've done... the bottom one is digitally smoothed out and is for reference while i detail the other one.

i wouldn't dream of doing something with so many undercuts if i wasn't casting with such a flexible medium. i'll probably do more work on these to make sure that cleaning the clay out of the mould will be easier.

planning a mould for this thing is fucking hard. i'm going to need to make a plaster block to get the details on the inside of the mouth at some point soon, otherwise the whole muzzle is going to be a solid block of foam silicone. i need to get that done before i can join the bottom jaw to the rest of the head and start smoothing and detailing. a lot of fucking work.
