Unlike the robots on Futurama, these robots don't use alcohol for a necessary function. The extremely high proof coupled with the particularly large amounts of methanol render these drinks poisonous to non-robots. Only the hardiest non-robotic alcoholics dare to try one of these drinks (and probably go blind as a consequence).
