A gift to 
PommiePrincess and drawn by the absolutely astounding 
TawnySweet, this was the first piece that I ever commissioned where I had a very clear idea what I wanted from the word go. The note that I sent Tawny about this commission was ridiculously long and included pictures and descriptions and all manner of silliness. And not only was she kind enough to accept the challenge, but she absolutely mastered it. She exceeded my every expectation~
I could go on hours and paragraphs about how much this piece means to me and why. About all the many and myriad things that it symbolizes and how deeply touches me. But ultimately, I think it can be summated thusly: while the distance seems long, our hearts are always near. No matter how far away, we're always right beside each other.
