To some gods, humans would be considered no more than ants and to be squashed with no more consideration if they should give offense or even for their amusement. Though for all we know perhaps this ant was in fact a human whom had desecrated a temple of Anubis or perhaps a tomb robber and so earning themselves this punishment. Anubis was a guardian of the dead and a guide to the afterlife, and a rather benevolent god so I think he'd have his reasons.
At least unlike some gods whom might be forgotten or others whom are known but no longer worshipped, at least Anubis still has plenty of recognition and admiration and I think he's probably the most popular god for us, so it's good to see you've done such a nice take on him here and his feet worthy of worship.
Now we just have to consider how we'd show our respect for him and what variety of worship he'd prefer, regular prayer or maybe for his feet another method?

That is a good question. I would totally go with both. First the prayer, and then doing whatever Anubis wants me to do with his delicate feet X3
I don’t know much about the Egyptian god of the dead, but since he’s the guide to afterlife, I bet he also has the ability to resurrect this mortal intruder in his temple to life, just so he could squish him to death over and over again or, if he gets bored, find another method to torture this human turned into an ant by stomping, trampling or grinding. I imagine when he’s done, he could also resurrect this intruder one more time and turn him into maybe a dog to sniff and lick his godly soles with his sensitive nose and tongue respectively, and even if that dog is being resistant to his feet, Anubis would sit on his throne and could always use some kind of telekinetic power to pull him towards those perfect masculine soles.
