The louder you scream, the longer the pain

This is Papercracker. I'll get a full pic/ref of him later.
Also done on an oekaki.
Now for story time.
The screams started to grow fainter, but they were still there...still bringing me dread. I looked over to the dark, shadowed out corner where they were coming from, when suddenly something shot forward out of it...but was held back from getting to me. It yelped as the chain shackles around it's neck, ankles and wrists held it back. I didn't know whether to feel sorry for it, or to be scrunching up in fear. This thing-this creature-was canine...yet still human. It was so horribly disfigured, having parts missing, or parts gained that shouldn't have been there. Two wings were on it's back, one dragon, the other metal. The blood covered iron wing was rusted, and was jetting painfully out of it's back, spikes present on what would be called the 'bone' or 'main structure' of it.
The creature started to sniff the air, and it's head pointed to my direction. It hat detected me. I gulped silently...when it started to whine. It got on all fours, but stayed close to the ground, it's ears pinned back. I watched as it struggled to open it's stitched eyes. I saw them slowly start to open, and I could see the thing's eyes. They were the most beautiful shade of lavender that I had ever seen. It tried desperately to keep it's eyes open, and started to whine again. That's when I noticed the pain and despair in it's eyes. The sadness and suffering was so extreme, that I could barely look at the creature any longer. This poor canine had gone through so much, and it shouldn't have. This was what his fate had brought him.
...And soon it would be mine.
