Not that I'm aware of; he literally posted a tweet with just that. I am pretty new to Twitter and not totally understanding of its intricacies, so it's possible that I missed something, but I don't think it had any further context.

I don't enjoy instant digestion myself (long, slow digestion/absorption is my favorite), but I do find it to be a very fascinating concept. Well done!

I also enjoy long digestion quite a bit, and would definitely say it's a fave! I've written a few stories that involve long (or even eternal) stays in a stomach. But I also find this idea interesting, too!

I like it because it is hard to enjoy the sensory experience if you are gurgled away in seconds. Plus I think slow digestion is more intimate, the pred slowly and thoroughly claiming the prey as nourishment.

This is all true! There's just a certain extent to which I like the idea of a pred treating a prey as just food -- sort of the reverse of intimacy. And this is like the exaggerated version of that.

I usually think of this as "video game metabolism". Because preds like Yoshi and Kirby are busy creatures with things to do, and no time to wait around digesting!

Well, I'm planning on doing a finished version of this, at least. I also have an idea for a new recurring character that I may combine with this one, which would result in me definitely doing more.
