Oh! And a funny conversation I had while coloring it.
Friend: "I thought Gene was solid black..."
Me: "He is!"
Friend: "What about the white hair fluff?"
Me: "Pretty sure it's white..."
Friend: "But is it ever fluffy like that?"
Me: "Tiny rabbits must have been dancing on his head..."

As to the last line in your reply let me say you do not have to worry about it. I may not be an artist. God knows I am way to impatient to practice but I read enough web comics and look at enough art to apply what little schooling I do have. Such as with your idols there is a life to them that is one of the standards I have before I fave anything!
