Aside from doodling on actual paper, I hardly ever gain any time to draw nowadays.

After drawing this through SAI, I learned that I have issues drawing with very thin lines.

Yes, and this would be the unexpected finishing product that was powered by the frustration I had when I was attempting to draw this with very thin lines.

Thick lines aren't so bad.

Oh, yes. Thin lines can even be disastrous! D: I've used them a good bit, but nothing that really supports the weight of image... or how bad I draw sometimes...

Thin lines can turn out really well if drawn correctly, but thick lines aren't so bad either.

SAI's stabilizer tool (S-7) should aid you mostly with that problem.
