This is a special picture for a very special person. It's an image I always wanted to create from the comic I planned out waaaaaaaay back when, and is the location of a major turning point in the story. I never was able to draw it since I didn't have the ability, and had to take a couple of years to improve my understandings.

At this point, the background is essentially done. I'm waiting to start on the character when my new tablet arrives later this week, and I hope to upload the finished version shortly after. I want to see if the new tablet gives my art a different feel in comparison to my old one (Bamboo Pen CTL-470 from like...2011), and using it to create the character should be what shows interesting differences, if any.
