Saki described the character as a dragon, so I was a bit unsure. I'd personally call any dragon without front legs a wyvern. Anyway, if you want dragon trees you gotta move to Finland.

It goes without saying, but I like this picture very much. And even if you don't have these, what were they called, "Dragon, Trees", I am very much interested in the dragons...possibly next to the trees.

I'm joking (badly), but seriously, I like the detail that you put into the background. While I love the summer, I also enjoy Fall if only for the colors that are made by the leaves, and you've captured the beauty in the contrast in the colors, well, beautifully here. This could even be used for a poster of a movie, featuring a dragon; don't let Disney do it though, or they might turn it into a comedy, if not something worse...I lost what I was going for here somewhere...ah, right. Great work, Charha! And forgive me for my ramblings...

The trees have started turning here, also. Sadly no dragons to be seen...

Thanks! This was a pretty quick piece and not a very difficult one either because there was only this one character involved. I think it was fun to paint the background. :)

You've got a great range in what you're capable of as an artist, from the frivolous to the beautiful... all done in a unique, immediately identifiable style. I'll keep things a bit more simple in the next commission request - you did such a wonderful job of it but I don't want to torture you again

I'd hardly call it torturing. The bar scene was very fun and effortless to draw, really. If you don't mind, I'll upload the picture to my gallery at some point. I think I already asked your permission for that, but I've been preoccupied with so many things lately that my memory's not working very well. ^^;;

I must say, I am speechless, youre soooooo GOOD!!!!

On retrospect, what bugs me the most about this is that the lineart sticks out from the background. I admit that the background was just a quick prop I added after coloring the character, but it would've worked better if I had paid more attention to the ground. As it is, there is no connection between the background and the figure itself. :\

wyverns are fun to draw, awesome work

They are quite fun to draw, but I always get frustrated when I have to draw the wing membranes. It's much easier to draw feathery wings. :p

this one turned out really good though. drawing wings in that pose can get confusing i know.

I'm so eager for fall. I love the trees when they're so many pretty colours. It's slowly beginning here!

I personally hate fall... It gets so cold and rainy. I miss summer already. Even our famous dragon trees look pretty bare and lonely at this time of the year. :(

Awwww, summer and fall are hard on me because the sun and heat limit my outside time xD; I hate our winters but at least i don't have to worry about the sun makingme sick xP I love spring though. Especially for the rain.

I think that most of the dragons I've drawn (like Behementh, Azhtek, Kyrevan, Deacon) were black. I've drawn some gryphons as well, but I don't think I've got any of them uploaded in my gallery.

Thanks! I made a couple of leaf-shaped brushes and used them to scatter these leaves everywhere. It looks pretty detailed although it only took about 30 mins. :)
