Depression fluff, might give up art
going through another one of my depressive swings...
this time around it's more or less due to me feeling insecure about my art... I feel like a failure of an artist
post a giant thousands-images big archive for free for all to see, and get only one comment about it, and it's more or less a negative review. "Too much time on my hands", I guess.
the shock of it has more or less killed my joy to draw, and I haven't even been able to do any personal projects...and almost no interest in anyone trading or commissioning me anymore...
Am I really that bad of an artist...?

Hm.
So let's be honest here, your artwork lacks in quality. That's fair. But your work doesn't lack in personal style, personality and it's all consistent. That's a good thing, there's lots of well known artists out there on the internet who have a huge fan base due to the content they draw and draw about, not so much due to their art quality. They have a personal, identifiable style that stands out greatly and the content they draw is entertaining to a wide audience. Your artwork may not be good in quality, but that's only because you've not refined your work. You've obviously got some talent and you've got a passion, it's just very unrefined, but that doesn't mean it's bad.
I'd have to implore you to actually go through your previous uploads as I did. I found multiple images with multiple positive comments from people who enjoyed your art. I personally enjoy your work as well. You're in a depressive slump, stop focusing on the one negative and focus on the many positives.
If the quality of your artwork is a problem for you, then try and broaden your skills. Grab a new art program and learn some tricks to speed up your drawing process, study anatomy or a particular style of illustration and character drawing techniques. There's always something you can do to improve, even if you are limited.
If it's the lack of comments that is a problem for you, all I can say is, it's FA. If you want attention, you art dump, but you might not get comments on everything. If you want comments, you post larger projects and pieces, but it might go unseen in your audience's notifications. You're never going to have more comments than favourites for the most part, don't get yourself down about it. Even the best artists still get multitudes more favourites than comments. Comments are rare, it's just the way things are.

I'm not too concerned about the quality thing...I guess it boils down to how I felt like all the effort I put in was blown over...I knew FA comments would be slim but I guess it was just shock that nobody at all said anything about it, even those who I showed it to on Discord, with most giving me a "I'll look over it later :o " and never getting back to me on it...
I guess I could try to look into a new art program, they usually never work out for me but when my nerves calm down I'll give one another shot...and browsing my archives sounds like a pleasant idea too...

Again, look back through some of your recent artwork uploads. People are commenting, much higher numbers than *nobody*. Very unlikely that people aren't paying attention to you deliberately and it's a little naive to think that. People have lives and people forget all the time that they have a message to read. I do it on a daily basis.
Like I said, if your quality is an issue, look for different methods to improve your work and maybe a newer art program to spice things up and give you more options.
You'll be fine, you just need a bit of time to calm down. Only you can change things, so if you want things to change, figure it out, plan it out and have a go at it.

If you were to quit, it would be a major loss for this community, if you ask me.
I understand you've had another knockback in regard to the art pack thing, and I know it's difficult to pick yourself back up after that, but...Please, don't quit. I'm always on Discord if you need to talk about this further, man.

You see how many people are here to help you, enjoying your stuff and dont wanting you to stop.
You have a unique art style I haven't really seen by someone else yet and I really like it too.
.. Sorry that I never comment on anything.. I don't leave as many comments as IO should, I often just forget about this tbh. Everywhere, not just here ^^" But someone before me already said comments are rare, I can definitely agree on that, many of my pics have just a few if not no comments at all.
I think people still see your work and would really miss you if you'd really stop. Look just at the amount of people who already commented before me, and they all want you to stay :3

It's ok, I know most people are kind of busy to leave comments...was more concerned about how when I linked my pack to all my friends on discord and nobody at all said much of anything even on there, mostly 'will look at it later' or something to that effect and then forget all about it...
*hugs at* I dunno if it's unique, but I'm glad you like my art...

I'm going to add onto what SolidScale said above and suggest that you look into trying out http://firealpaca.com/ it's completely free to download and use with all its features and it's perfectly ideal to start with for learning a more advanced art program since it doesn't throw more at you at once than needed -3-\
If you're looking to get more in-depth art tips shoot me a note, I'll be happy to help you out as much as I can -w-/

Me again, but I forgot to mention some things because of commenting first thing />w>\;
You also might need to make more of an effort to advertise yourself around, what helped me with this was making a journal once a month to remind folks that I'm both around and open for comms, as well as updating how I do things to suit myself and others often too -3-\
I'd also suggest making a point of being more active and present in the community, posting art regularly, of course, is the best way to show you're active and doing art but commenting on the works of others can also help you get more noticed as well -3-\
Plus keep an eye out for anyone seeking artists for commissions, this can also be a great way to get yourself some work to do if you find opportunities you think you can handle doing -3-\

Up until a while ago I was given the very opposite effect; was told I was posting too much too often and to slow down because people were getting irritated by my flood of vore images cluttering inboxes and the searchbar...but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try being a little more active again when things calm down a bit
And most of the time I try approaching others who wanted vore pics/sequences, I get turned down pretty damn hard, with the usual array of comments about the quality of my stuff or that they want something with more sex-appeal and not cutesy

If you ask me, people are just to intimidated by you to step up. I've absolutely seen your art get shared in vore discords, where people react to it with nothing but praise and admiration for the art and the subject matter. People DO appreciate your art, it's just a lot easier to discuss it with friends than the artist himself
Sorry yeah I don't mean intimidated by you being actually scary or anything, I just mean like, people see an empty comments section, and they are generally afraid to be the first or second person to comment. It's much easier to comment when many other people have done it, like in this post. At least that's my logic.
i've always loved your art... yeah detailed pieces or nice, but i love really simplistic stuff too; hell that's how my own artstyle is. i live for really comical type stuff. i also love how you don't really descriminate with pred animals. horses, deer, cows, i love how you draw each of them in preddish situations
