Puppy said, more than once, to me and a couple of other of his friends that he trusts us with his art, and that I, for example, had the right to colour his work if I wanted to.
It's been over 2 years since he passed away, but I still think about him, and I browse his gallery and smile at memories of various streams I hung out in, and saw the magic happen.
This was one of my favourite pieces he drew for me. ♥
I am learning some new techniques and using new programs and brushes, so I thought it'd be a good chance to practice.
I loved working with Puppy. It was always a lot of fun, even if challenging at times. Some of our collab coms are still my fave coms to this day...
I just miss him. I'll always miss him.
But looking at his work, colouring it, reminding people to he once lived and was my friend, is my way of honouring his memory and keeping him alive. In my heart, and now, yours.

Lovely colours, I like the choices! I am a sucker for purples and pinks, I tend to use them for shadows in my art.
I also visit DeD's page every few months, just seeing people still leaving messages on things or simply just seeing his art makes me smile fondly.
It's a shame he left us so early in his life and I miss his art/streams. I wasn't super close to him but we were always in each other's streams and chatted occasionally.
I am glad you can help keep his memory alive by colouring his work. I know he used to hate colouring stuff XD! Bless him.
