hehe michel is 1 years old and hes a rescued parrot, from awful stupid owners

Play with him as much as possible. start a bond with him and spoil him, but not overly.

avoid anything with the silicone nonstick cleaner as that will kill him.

and thats great. teach him and talk to him as much as you can. and dont worry thinking its to difficult to learn. the Double yellow headed amazons are just as intellegent as African Greys and just as talkative.

so far Tobi, when I leave the room calls out for me: DAAAD!!! DAAD!!! DAAAD!!!

and they can eat anything But chocolate. peanuts are good treats but are fattening.

oh i know that mine say lazy ass, mom, ama in spainsh, and even calls my cats and dogs he loves tacos even his fav nuggets hes been eating that for almost a year

try giving him some potatoes.

Tobi absolutely loves Spegetti with garlic bread. and hes spoilt rotten as he wont eat the pasta without the garlic bread.

something else, he will start mimicing sounds, which is really neat.

Tobi mimics the sound of a closing storm door then yells out "Tornado!"
