abit of an update on the costume stuff, the mask is pretty much ready for paint (lots of filling extra detailing, and ltos of internal structual things doen since last upload), but iam thinking of making the neck fabric a little better first
in addition, i also made a flexible tail, its mostly soft form harvested from old sofa cushions, using dense black foam for details and the underside covered in tough fabric, the tip is heavily weighted (with the thick leather, the total weight is like two kilos) to give it some movement and sway as i move, it attaches (with the visible straps) to my big rustic-styled leather girdle to make sure it fits very snugly on my body
also sorry there has not been any drawings for a while, i got ait out of the rythm of it again in addition to most of my creative juices going into crafting costume stuff, and as i was gunna get back at it, i started working and now i've been sick as hell for like a week :I

thank you very much! thats super neat to hear, especially as its the first try making anything like that, i usually dont work much on that sort of scale and its actually my first ever try at making a mask at all, i still gotta figure out how to get the jaw working proper though, the foam the whole thing is made from, even if pretty firm and tough is way too soft and it just sorta fucks itself up on my head real fast, so far the plan is to basically start over, possibly somehow make a mold of this thing and cast it in a harder material (which would also solve it being ever so slightly too small on the inside right now)
Hey, I know this post is kinda old, but can you tell me how you did the tail? It looks great and I'm playing a lizardfolk at LARP and trying to make my tail with other materials after my first attempt with foam and flexipaint, as it's not very movable. Preferably via DM, if that's ok :)
