Lorna Dilbrook was an unusual girl who wanted badly to be a TV newscaster. She got something else.

Elegantly shortened for the impatient masses. ;)
It's a great backstory though. Even during the first year of funny strips I was pondering about how it all got together.. and when that story was told I thought to myself, 'Oh, that actually almost makes too much sense.' Not that I was dissapointed, mind you.
I just went to see how it compares to the old intro comic, and your new commenting system (or whatever it is), is barring my way. It jumps over to the 'type your comment here' page instead of letting me look at the page. *Laughs.*

Really? I hit the "first" button and I got taken to the new intro comic. You can also hit the "intro" button too. What browser are you using?

I used the intro button, but it doesn't really matter which button I use. Firefox 1.5.0.12 is my browser. I did try to use an old IE just now, and it does work there. To clarify, in Firefox it loads up nicely until the commenting field finishes up, at that point the field takes over as a seperate page. (Is that really clarifying? I think it only served to make things more confusing..)
It's not just these intro pages, by the way, whenever I view a particular comic page it acts that way (I just tried that out). How odd! I guess though, that having to work out those kinks is preferable over having malware installing fora..
