Yesterday, 14 June 2018, marks the passing of a beloved dog by the name of Tigger. He was a small, brown fur base with white portions mixbreed, and was proudly, and happily, alive since 2010. This lovable dog, with heartfelt tears, was euthanized due to liver failure that was onset within a 48 hour timeframe. My brother had to make the choice to end his life, offering him peace, a lack of pain, and mercy. We're all gonna miss him, because he was an important member of the family. It's hard to say goodbye.
I submit this poem, not as a grasp for pity, but as a means of offering remembrance, and a testament of this and yesterday. Only time will bring closure to these wounds, and only time will allow us to move forward with the memories and photos of the one we loved so dearly. For this purpose, this is why he was dearly beloved.
