“Hey…let go!” Giving him a sharp jab in his abs with her elbow and wrapping her legs around his ankles to knock him off balance, Whisper fought and tried to loosen her grip against him, to no avail. He actually tighten his grip around her, though not enough to hurt her, as he gently picked her up off the ground, holding her out in front of him. Grimm KNEW she hated being picked up, and he would probably regret it later, but he thought the risk was worth it. He had not seen her in a few months now due to how busy their schedules had been- and the last time he saw her, she nearly sent him to the hospital because he was guarding the same person she was hired to kill. Both of them left the scrape with their share of bruises and lacerations; however, neither of them were seriously injured. He did not know why he put up with such a mean woman…yet here they were, enjoying a nice, quiet day together. He hid a smile as he bearhugged her against him-
“Oi, oi…someone is feisty today. It is such a struggle to get a hug out of you, Miss Tsundere.” Chuckling in amusement, he nuzzled her head before reluctantly letting her go. “I have missed you; it is good to see you again.”
Throwing a haymaker into his right shoulder, Whisper smiled up at him as if she did nothing wrong, “It is good to see you as well…slow old man. Also, how many times have I told you about lowering your defenses around your enemies?” She laughed as she ran off, racing him to the park…
“But you are not my enemy! You are supposed to be…” his voice trailed off as he sighed and watched her run ahead. He jogged behind her trying to catch up to her. Sometimes, she made him so very tired-
They were both off today and since it had been a while since their last outing, Grimm and Whisper agreed to meet up for the day go to out and spend some time together…but due to their odd friendship, it was hard for them to just “hang out” without one or both of them being maimed and/or beaten up…usually Grimm.
…yes, their friendship was odd to say the least. Yet it seemed to work out for whatever reason.
Personally, I think I have a great relationship with my friends…
It’s been a while since Grimm and Whisper got some art together so at tolerabledog’s request, we got together and got some art fitting of our two characters…actually I was hoping for something more hack and slash, but a certain chicken that I will not name, is too afraid to fight Whisper! So we came to a fair compromise-
Whisper does not care much for hugs, though if you are a close friend or someone she really enjoys talking to, she might make a special exception for you!
…maybe. If you’re like Grimm however, she is just mean and grumpy regardless, haha. Thank you so much for getting this piece with me! Whisper and Grimm have some very amusing interactions together so I could not resist getting this with him.

Oh gosh, we're worse in real life- I'm constantly threatening to fight and beat him or steal his food after my workouts. He just...tolerates me, LOL
Ah, I'm so glad you think of me as a close friend- you're one of my few friends on here as well!!! Gosh, that makes me smile knowing I have -some- influence in your life...and all my friends lives. I don't really consider myself as much of a special person, or even a person that's always "nice" or "friendly" but I try my darnest to treat others like I want and expect to be treated- and I guess it shows!

Ah, I am glad to know some people actually read my writings (sometimes I wonder why bother since most people on here don't read, haha). I try to put either a short story or description with all my art, not only to explain why I got it, but to add a little life to the piece instead of saying something generic like, "So and so did this piece...look at how cute my character(s) is!"
...but she does use cherry blossom shampoo so he might be getting a sniff of how good her hair smells, LOL
