The day after Labor Day, the end of summer vacation (in the northern hemisphere/United States), all the students are going back into school, and a good percent are regretting the fact that they wasted the whole time doing nothing big or productive. That's hitting pretty close to home, I think...

Notes on the first page:
I'm trying to make Money (the yellow one) sound pretty unique through dialogue, by trying to establish a catch phrase and an accent, so the way she talks is bound to change throughout the series. She's supposed to say "Oy-yo" when she's frustrated/angry/annoyed/exclaiming something. When she says "Stollls" (that's right, will 3 l's) its an equivalent of saying "shoot" or "dang it".

Secondly, I'm ashamed about the third panel. I mean its the first day of school, you'd think you'd see a bunch of other students walking around or something. You can't even tell its a school! No excuse!... but no good reason either...

Lastly, since this is the first page of the comic it'd be good to know the characters' names. The yellow one is Money, the pink one is Mikkie, the orange one is Francine and the purple one is Ruby. They're all the main characters, and whatnot.

I hope to dish out future pages on a weekly basis. Get on me about this!
