I do a lot of stuff for my animals, I know. I have such beautimous animals, though.
This is Xena again, a.k.a.; "Xena-Bean", "Bean", "Beanstalk", "Bonster", "Monster Bean", "Bean-Chan", "Chanchan" and on and on and on, it mostly devolves to nonsense after that point. She is about two years old now, and is a Neopolitan Mastiff x Amstaff ( we think, the mother's lineage was super sketch ). This is a little baby we got at 3 weeks old ( due to trailer-park circumstances, she was abandoned by the breeder ) and hand-raised, and though she came out with some pretty real anxiety issues, she is otherwise entirely healthy, happy, and full of attitude.
Done with a reference photo I took myself, and plopped her down on some lush summertime grass. The rope is THE toy, the ONLY toy that matters, so it was just the universe speakin' to me.
Done in Krita in probably close to ten-ish hours ( ...? Maybeh? ) across two afternoons and evenings. I'm still learning techniques as I go, though some stuff is coming along kinda nicely ( for me, in my own little heart of hearts, I feel like I'm making babysteps but steps nonetheless. )
I'm kinda proud of this one.
Known Flaws; I'm messy as hell, and thus, so is this. I am trying to get away from the blurrr brush but it's a hard habit to break. And the shading on the rope toy is just wack but I pick my battles.
