Part of a #mermaychallenge A bit of a late entry for technical reasons, but I am pleased with the results.
Concept was for mermaids based off of 1 word descriptions

Up first, Retiarius, suggested by spartannick037 on Deviantart. Retiarius are "fishermen" style gladiators using net and trident. Perfect for a badass mermaid!

Not so much. Gladiators weren't really going for longevity in a given fight. Retiarius specifically didn't have much going on in the armor department, instead using their own mobility and weapons to hamper their opponent's mobility.
