Corgis may not be tall dogs but they definitely have strong personalities and they're certainly amongst the most adorable of dogs, so I imagine it would be hard to resist the urge to pick Angus up though I don't suppose he minds too much when it's just his son giving him a hug. Wallaby obviously loves his father very much, though not being very tall himself I imagine his father is one of the few he gets the chance to pick up like this, though I can see Kayne doing the same with Wallaby for a hug or a kiss.
I'm also imagining Jill kneeling down while Angus stretches up on tiptoe or maybe stands on a stool so they can share a loving kiss, which I think would make for a scene just as adorable as this one.
