This picture is an instance of dirty laundry. I don't like airing dirty laundry, I don't even like having it, but it's inescapable in this case. This picture was completed for me just recently by Missy, and for a short time was available in her gallery. It no longer is.

To make a long story short, I showed it to my friends, and it got universally blasted on anatomy. I was crushed, I very much wanted Skye to be a 'showcase' character, and to hear such a negative response was dismaying. I reported my sudden dissatisfaction to Missy, and she was understanding and took down the pieces from her gallery, despite the pride she herself had taken in the work, and the joy others were finding in it there.

It was about this time I realized I had made a terrible mistake.

At this time Missy has made it clear she will not be working with me again, and refunded the work we had in progress. As much as I regret this, she was right when she stated that if I could give her nothing but approval through the process of this pic, then suddenly decide I hated it, then there was no way she could know the same wouldn't happen on the next piece. And she was right, it wouldn't be fair to either of us.

Still, I regret that I took from you viewers a work that you all clearly enjoyed, and I'm sorry that I destroyed the pride Missy deservedly took in her work. So here the picture sits, an apology to those I have wronged with my petty pride. This picture deserves to be treasured for the effort put into it, and the joy that could be found from it.
