You'd think that, but preds gotta eat! But since it's too hot to go out hunting, they probably just end up eating their friends.
Maybe, but you know, I've always assumed that the furry folk in my stories, like many fur-covered animals in real life, don't have sweat glands, and have to regulate their heat via their ears, the pads of their feet, and panting. Not that that's super important or anything, but it's always kind of been my headcanon.
Either foxes or cats, usually. But I mean, foxes are the best, so it's only natural.
