In our non-anthro world we moved away from moving horses to pull loads because horses are temperamental at times and high maintenence. In an anthro world though, taurs would be a much cheaper and lower-maintenance option for pulling moderate loads; like helping stabilize a load being lowered by crane.
Harnessed up and strapped to the load, Vicki can move in whatever direction the crane operator needs, unlike a tug. Since her body is the tug, her hands are free to have the radio in hand at all times. Her hooves and Clydesdale muscles give her enormous pulling power, but also great control. instinctively shifting her direction and strength of pull as she watches the load and listens to the radio.
