I really miss the candy shops like It's Sugar and Rocket Fizz which were once in old town Pasadena. Now I have to drive all the way to the Balboa Pier to get my Licorice and Maple Bacon Salt water Taffy Fix.

What is it with Peeps ???? Those things are like candy corn and those orange peanut looking things. They taste awful but every year I buy them and gobble them down (vowing to never do it again).

Every holiday has its signature candy it seems. Peeps, candy corn, Cadbury egg, none of them will be going away anytime soon. Speaking of which, how old is that Cadbury egg commercial anyway?

OK Rif...Just had to check that out. The current type of eggs were introduced in 1963, The clucking bunny came along in 1983. There was a "bunny try-outs" commercial (using all rabbits was aired in 1988. The "bunny auditions" with the lion (my favorite) was first aired in 1994 . I thought the lion version was older than that...but still amusing.
