Something just a day late to celebrate father's day. Had to pick an OC, and honestly both of my OC dads (Titanius Sarex and Ivos de Kyraas) are very problematic and bad so I went with the lesser of two evils. Eridus Ferox (now going by Titanius Sarex on Omega) murdered his commanding officer and other squadmates in an impulsive fit of disagreement and kidnapped his kids (Astra and Rexis, ages 2 and 4 respectively) out of fear his wife (Valenia) wouldn't remarry to give them a new father figure, and took them to Omega where he married Nasira T'Umi, adopted her daughter Malisana T'Umi, and then essentially abandoned them to work and drink away his pain after things got bad. And they did get bad. Nasira turned out to be a terrible wife and he had to endure knowing that the lack of education he gave his kids drove his son into the Blue Suns and that his daughter would be without proper professional biotic training. Not to mention he condemned his children to a life of poverty and neglect with an abusive step-mother and surrounded by alcoholism.
He meant well, but poor execution of a bad idea went further south than he could actually deal with. But at least he tried??? I guess??? Sorta??? At least karma came back to bite him in the ass and he died during the Omega plague epidemic in 2185.
