So back in 1998, ZigZag was born and proceeded to destroy the entire furry fandom...or did she?
So when I created ZZ, it was inspired by an issue of "Skunk Aficionado" (cover by Jim Hardimann, we miss you.) back in '97. But the earliest published image I have of her is dated in '98. and in some circles, I heard it was earlier. So amid all the confusion, I decided it wasn't her 20th birthday but her 20-ish birthday.
She can go drinking now if we fudge it a little bit. ;)
Thanks for all the love and support, she loves you all for it. Here's to 20-ish more years!

I bet even if you secretly wanted to as every artist with his creation, you never hoped for such a recognition - and 20-ish years later still nonetheless!!
Guess we can also thank Eric, through whom many discovered her, and who helped in keeping her in constant spotlight... Now that back story with regretted Jim's cover is something new to me and extremely important, for ZZ now really gathers for me the spirit of three pillars of the furry fandom, three artists I, like many, am worshipping every moment.
