I hope everything is visible. for technical reasons I had to scan it through my bro's laptop, which looks different... also, corel works so much different than photoshop. x.x
so, now. the minimal BG became something more. I doubt anybody minds, though... I experimented a bit around.
also, horse-dog hybrids are fun, as are coy-foxies. XD
I hope you two like it! ^^

This is great, you got the feel I was hoping for down exactly, and I really like the style of coloring you used. Especially on the fur. This totally feels like how she and I are when we're being cuddly and things are very sweet and quiet before I say something sarcastic and she smacks me.
Also, thank you for putting so much into the background, I really enjoy the peaceful and very natural feel of the setting. The dragonfly and the lizard on the rock are excellent touches. Now I want to go to that lake!

glad you approve! and I am glad I could pinpoint down your vision accurately. that's why I take comissions, trying to bring other's visions to live. :)
the scanner and probably Corel too, ate a lot of finer shadings in fur and background. I hoipe I can get my standard machine to work and use photoshop and the monitor I'm used to. :)
that lake has seen use for many a peaceful, pleasant and sometimes interesting scenery. I myself would like to know where it lies, it'd be time to migrate... I couldn't help it and had to work on the far BG and include some more life, too. ^^

As nice as it is here, you're right, it looks even nicer in person! I really appreciate the darks and the contrast that just didn't come across in the scan. Both in the foreground and the background, but especially the vibrant greens didn't come across in the scan. Stormy and I are looking for a place to put it in a frame and hang it up somewhere nice in the house.
