Here's another detail for my new bear character, Miel. His maw. Given he is a bear made out of honey, it is vibrantly coloured as such~ It gives a soft, bright colour and gleam. So bright and vibrant, that it gives off a hypnotic effect to any bear that happens to stare right into it. If caught, the bear hypnotised will find themselves compelled to climb on into said maw, finding it nice and comforting. Said hypnotic effect can be made stronger if the bear has eaten honey, especially from Miel.
And speaking of honey, the maw also has another feature. Right at the back, by the throat, is a small pool of honey. Designed as a lure for bears, to climb further in, to dip a paw or maw into the pool, then find it suddenly dragged down ant trapped.

If Miel is showing you his maw, chances are that he thinks you're trying to steal his honey (the highest of misdeeds, in his opinions) and is ensuring that you're properly stowed away so he can take you somewhere with lots of honey. So much, you'll drown in it, and become a honey bear yourself, or just plain honey. Depending on the mood.
Granted, that's the worst case scenario. Best case, Miel is loaded with honey and is desperatly looking for bears to offset the load, and he's just trying to entice someone~ :3


Of course, if you're not a bear, then the hypnotic qualities do not apply and this works just like any other maw. Walk away, climb in, do whatever you want
