Known to have a booming voice that he can't control that strikes some fear in others. however, he is very emotionally sensetive, and usually takes care of it by being cruel to others. like Bebop, he is childlike but more in the open. he has told Bebop as a child he had a snapping turtle that bit his finger and today, he hates reptiles and views all of them as sworn enemies. he holds grudges and is impatient. when with bebop, he is seen with a more friendlier appeal. He was given the name rocksteady when he was a teenager who was frequently bullied by those bigger than him due to his "dumb" appearence. they threw rocks at him, but none of them seemed to even faze him. since then he got respect and the scars of his painless past remain to serve that nothing hurts him physically. He views Bebop as a somewhat father appearence because of his advice how they act together. also that his father who took part in WW2 returned tramatized, he never got to spend a normal life of a boy who learned lessons and such. he and bebop are a strong bond that, over the years, has become closer.
