Dude, that looks like one of those rubber toy roaches...is that actually real? If so, don't let anybody else pick it up, they might try to squeeze it and make it squeak or something.

Not too much, they mostly sit around. They're VERY boring roaches compared to my others, but they're one of my favorites due to the size :)

Short distances, yus. They're pretty clumsy about it. Most every species I know of avoids it unless necessary, and I don't think a lot of females can fly at all, especially when gravid.
