You see it all the time on furry websites, chat clients and Second Life. Perfectly sculpted bodies, thin-but-muscular or slim-yet-curvy builds, impossible body types. That NONE of us have in real life. If we do, we're in the minority.
So I challenge you, FA. Take a photo of yourself, fully clothed or in your skivvies. Trace your body type and marks exactly, blemishes, scars and all. Then apply your character to the form. Let's see what the REAL face of FA is.

Eh, figured I'd jump in on this one. Horse Feather drawn literally in my body shape. Complete with the multitude of freckles and moles I have, a few scars (very faint), all my real piercings and tattoos and a lovely set of bruises and cuts (my job is very unforgiving). I bruise really easily IRL (probably due to a low iron count, bah), so every week I'm sporting some ugly set of bruises somewhere. This week, it's my left forearm! Gotta love Rottweilers who don't want their nails trimmed.! :D
That behemoth of a thing behind me is my grandfather's old gun display case that now houses not even half of my massive Transformers collection. Yup. Obession. I has it.
Done entirely in Art Rage 2, 'cept for the photo manipulation. That was done in Photoshop.

As a 12-year veteran of animal nursing, I know all about the amazing bruises and scars one can get in the line of work. ^^ My most epic scar is a five-inch line on my left arm, left by a [ironically enough] rabbit who was not being properly restrained as I was attempting to medicate him. ^^;
I own two rabbits and I can just imagine the scar! D: Their nails can leave wicked marks ... I should know. My female mini-Rex has given me plenty. But that must've stung like crazy! And I'm not even in the animal nursing field. I'm a groomer, trying to go back to school to be a vet tech. But yeah, I just stop counting or noticing the bruises. Along with the nicks, cuts, scrapes and scars.
