Derrick is a DJ not just on land, but underwater as well since he brings his talent as a singer and creating music for clubs. His home is on a secluded island where he feels much at home and gets his inspired music from the surrounds including his trips to Poseidon series. Of course Maku and his friends do come up to him whenever he visit to see what he done and questions about the surface world. Derrick is a kind DJ and musician, letting his music to help express his emotions and feelings.
