Here's the second and final movement to my first String Quartet. I originally planned on having a third movement, but I loved the way this ended that I decided to just end the Quartet here.

The piece begins with the Cello, and adds the instruments one by one. The more instruments, the more agitated the writing becomes. Then, one by one, the instruments drop out (Cello first, then Viola, etc...) until only the 1st Violin is playing. The piece ends on the seventh of the scale, reaching toward the Tonic but never quite making it.
