Anyway, I spent quite a long time working on this, and as mentioned before I am a writer, so it's only fair that I show said skill trait. However, this doesn't mean I'm the best nor the worst out there. This here, is to find where I stand between the poles. So if you end up reading this, please do give feedback/ Constructive criticism (I also don't mind a good joke or two.) And as a warning to those who don't like long stories. This is around 19,000 words. So reading digression is advised. :/ (Hope you enjoy my first story dear reader. Oh, also. You might notice how there is no tabs and such. About that, I have no clue how to do that in BB code. So I attached a Rich Text file for those of you who would like a more official looking story.)

xD thanks, glad you liked the read and it was worth your time. First bit of feedback on it as well, so thank you very very much! ^.^ But the dark times as the title says shapes who they are to become better than their past, and move on. To create a sense that they were dealt a bad hand and they were ready to change for the better. Hope this felt accurate for you, was one of the main intent, to feel realistic yet provide a moving and motivating past.
I did think for a moment that if Chip's parents were involved in organized crime then Fat Cat might think Chip looked familiar when they first crossed paths.
But then it occurred to me that all that might have been before Fat Cat's time, or at least before he got involved in crime himself.
That and the big cat seems to be his own crime boss, not part of some larger organization.
I've done a bit of Rangers fan fiction as well and know how difficult it can be to get feedback of any sort.
Thought about posting some stories to Inkbunny since I hear it is a better platform for writers. Its just that FA has been my main furry site for so long that it is hard to shift my focus elsewhere.
But then it occurred to me that all that might have been before Fat Cat's time, or at least before he got involved in crime himself.
That and the big cat seems to be his own crime boss, not part of some larger organization.

But they were only ever known for their last name, which is something they kept hidden (chip and dale did) it's sort of a legacy thing, not only that but their disappearance was also quite known, but not in the sense of who what where or why. Chip himself was kept as a secret, with only a few people knowing of his name or what he looks like.
