The battle of floof superiority is something that has been occurring for many, many centuries. Two or more sides constantly battling in an attempt to prove the other factions that they are the superior, most fluffy ones of them all, each with their own techniques and distinct battle-fluff tactics.
The Tournament of Fluff(ToF), was the yearly, most anticipated event in the whole continent, gathering to its stadiums not only fluffy beings, but also non-fluffy ones, a show that just couldn't be missed.
Throughout the year, each faction would hone their finest fluff warriors, going through several smaller competitions, where the best of them were chosen for the ToF.
Every ToF was epic, majestic and full of surprises, as there were several accomplishments and rewards possible to get and achieve, both personally and faction wise.
Although there could only be one single winner standing on the podium, the winning faction would get a considerable sum of money, not to mention renown and a lot of benefits, as well as the honor to hold the next ToF in their faction stadium.
That wasn't all, however, as the fluffy being who was the winner would be set for life. They'd be able to choose any position they'd want, including the very coveted royal fluff guard to the king and queen.
They also had a chance to fight the current king or queen if they desired so, able to even take their throne in case they won... but these two fluffy beings where the best of the very best, hence their positions, so whenever this occurred, it was more like an exhibition match, where even if the ToF winner lost, it wouldn't revoke any of their winning rights.
Royal fluff guard commanders could also challenge the current king or queen for their throne, three times a year, where the whole system, together with ToF, was built to ensure it was possible for every winning fluff to have a chance at the throne if they wished... even if they would be against the nº1 fluffs.
Centuries pass… and these epic events become a thing of the past, forgotten by most, a thing of history books, of a time long gone.
However… at a little corner in the world, Deli and Shadow are having their own fluff battle, and although Deli can’t possibly compare to the old fluff kings and queens, he was clearly the superior fluff… having the ‘vee mercilessly snuggled against his chest, floofing him up… well deserved of the nº1 fluffmedal.~
Tee-hee… that wall of text was not supposed to be there! I was going to write a little simple thing about being the nº1 obvious fluff but… then I just started imagining this and that… and all of the above just came to mind, and I thought it would be a fun thing to write~
This most lovely, adorable pic was something I got from
pocketpaws and I’m totally in love with it haha, I really like how it came out We talked about the idea and she just captured it perfectly on the picture~
