Full-body reference for Naru, a character in a project I'm doing with Cat. Because the characters will be used and reused, a front/back reference was necessary.
The red line is a marking, it goes from his left eye and eventually wraps around his left pinky finger/paw. The twirls and shapes it makes are static.
His eyes have no pupils due to his soul not being fully in his body. It's just barely held in place by the golden bell on his neck, tied with a red and white braid string.
The outfit is out of my own mind, so if it doesn't make sense, that would be why. The turn poses are referenced from several anime character profiles on google.

There's something I really like about this character's design, though I can't quite put my finger on it (well some of it I can X3). I just love the simplicity of it, but then there's the streak of red that goes down from the eye all the way down the leg/arm that just stands out and makes the character that much more interesting. It looks really awesome. And I love the vacant eyes. And I love his hair. :3
