ACEO - Helmasaur
My final card for the Zelda X-Change and also the one I am staisfied with the most... which is probably the reason why parting from this one will probably hurt a bit. Xp
The Helmasaur is my absolute favourite endboss of the entire game and I wanted to try drawing him since a whole while and now I finally got the right occasion for it.
Did I mention already how much I love those Xchange rounds?
Anyhow... this one was done entirely in colour pencils: no water colour base and no gel pen highlights. Just a bit splendering to smooth out the background so the focus remains on the monster.
Let's hope the one receiving this card likes that critter as much as I do. ^,^

Wow, das sieht echt klasse aus. Hab den guten Helmasaur gleich erkannt - obwohl ich bisher nicht mal wusste, dass der Boss nen Namen hat. Wieder was gelernt. ;)
Sehr viel Liebe fürs Detail und wirklich nahe am Original. Sieht wirklich toll aus. ^^

Jeder Boss in Zelda hat - soweit ich weiss - einen Namen, aber vermutlich muss man einen gewissen Zelda-Geek-Faktor erreicht haben, um das zu wissen. XD
*fröhlich hin und her schunkel* Das gute an diesen Austauschaktionen ist, dass sie mir die Gelgenheit geben Fanart zu zeichnen, die sich zum Teil schon seit Jahren in meinem Kopf angestaut hat und endlich endlich ans Freie darf. Dadurch tut das Weggeben dann zwar schon ein bisschen weh, aber das Ergebnis ist in der Regel so wie es sein soll. ^
