More of this will be explained if you follow my AU on fanfiction. But yes I came up with the headcanon last night that Birdo would adopt Bowser Jr as her own son. Please do bare in mind however this does NOT make Birdo and Bowser a couple/ship as Birdo would raise Junior inside Bowser's Castle before he got older and she decided to stay in the Mushroom Kingdom.
