Was in the mood for playing around a little with Photoshop (just had my mouse though, no tablet). Drawn by hand (pencil), colored with Photoshop & mouse. Art challenge for today - making a picture that makes you feel the temperature. So here it is:

As said, it was used to be a test, but I liked how it turned out. ^^ Savoy is part-wolf, she's able to stand the cold, no worries. ;)

Brr... makes me think of when I was taking care of Hedge [5 year old Arctic wolf] for a friend.... he sat in the snow and refused to budge for 3 hours. That meant I was sitting in the snow with him, pressed up against his side and thankfully didnt get bit for it. O.o I was so grateful to take him back inside to the medical kennel.
Poor Savoy :\ She's alone in the middle of the ice, ears flattened back, eyes closed, and the ice surrounding her cracking. She looks sad and upset, this piece makes me feel sad as well. It takes a true artist to be able to instill emotion into a viewer. You do so very well!
I don't think she has anything to worry about if it were to give though, I know she would be saved in a heartbeat!
