Fact: the village of Montmatre was once situated on a hill that was notable for the windmills built along its slopes. When the Moulin Rouge cabaret was built there, it was designed to look true to the spirit of Montmatre, while also being the colour of passion, or a prostitute's wig!
Anyway, love the picture.
