My contribution to Mermay: instead of drawing a mermaid-related picture daily, I sculpted and casted these resin catfish figures! I couldn't resist the pun and incorporating an ouroboros-esque element to the design. I've been inspired by designer/art toys/sofubi lately and this is my first foray into this strange and wonderful world.
I'm planning on offering these in different color schemes (setting up my online store is taking a bit of time, so I appreciate your patience!) I will make an official post when it's all up and running. ^_^
