I think I found something to beat Rule 34.

So I was looking around YouTube and found this Japanese cartoon from 1933 involving a tanuki (and also a neat kitsune I may draw later): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyGvGMa2RFg

And you KNOW how much I love tanuki -- and inkblot characters! So I had to draw this little guy. Cute, ain't he? Interesting how the style was clearly influenced by the Western cartoons of the period.
