The Daughter of Eden(Angelic Dragon) and Crowley(Naga), Astrid in most timelines never got to live long. Zealous purists who hated her parents got her killed, casting her soul adrift. This soul would eventually become Josh.

However, in some timelines, she bit the killers, poisoning them and surviving. Here, she grew up to be strong, independent, and just a bit vicious towards those she doesn't like.
