So I finally had the chance to sit down and write Echo's backstory (which you can read here) and just knew this was the moment I needed to illustrate from it. After the Maverick attack decimates his team leaving him the sole survivor, Echo can't help but feel like he should have been able to save the others -- that he hadn't done enough during the attack. Although he survived, his heart now bleeds for everyone he lost... And he wishes he could have done more to save them.
I just want to hug him. I really do. Echo needs a hug, LOL!
