Seraphs (also know as "Seratores" in the ancient language of the spaceborn) have been a long standing symbol of my headworld... even though I haven't drawn one in probably over a decade. They are living spaceships; animals that live in open space near stars and other forms of energy.

They are silicone based life forms, but rather than eating, they absorb energy from nearby stars.
